Meet the Jobs!

Hello! My name is Heather Job (pronounced like the book of the Bible not the dreaded place we go to make money to pay bills :) ). My dear friend Crystal got me interested in reading her blog daily (sometimes multiple times a day) and suggested I should start my own. I thought who would want to hear about my rather boring life, but I decided to give it a try anyway. So here it goes....
I met my husband Michael while working at Food Lion right after graduating high school. Michael was a manager and I was a cashier. Same store dating between managers and employees was a "no, no" so we tried to keep it a secret. Yeah right!
After high school graduation I went into the Dental Assisting program at CPCC in Charlotte, NC. I finished in 1998 and started working in Mooresville. After almost 10 years of changing jobs and realizing all dentist have the same micro managing problem I work for a dentist in the small town of Maiden(aka "the biggest little football town in the world"). I really enjoy what I do.
Michael and I married on February 2, 2002 at 2:00. Yes, 2,2,02 at 2:00! The reason we decided to get married on that day is because we started dating on February 2nd 5 years earlier! Plus who's ever gonna forget that date? We just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary this year which means we've been together for a decade now! WOW!
Our "gift from GOD" Abigail Marie Job arrived on October 14, 2003. She weighed 3'14 and was 17 inches long. You're probably thinking oh my gosh why was she so small! I had developed preeclampsia to the point where it was extremely dangerous for me. So on Monday night the 13th of October they decided to induce labor which resulted in an emergency c-section the next day. Abbie was 8 weeks premature. She was a fighter though, we went through some scary times during her 5 week hospital stay. But on Tuesday November 18th exactly 5 weeks from being born we were able to bring Abbie home. And now 31/2 years later we are loving every minute spent with her.

So, this blog hopefully will let everyone see and know the things going on in the life of the Job's!
