Aspiring Artist

Here are some photos that Abbie drew freehanded and without looking at a picture of Max and Ruby. For those who aren't familiar with Max and Ruby they are bunnies who are siblings. Abbie watches Max and Ruby on Noggin. I personally think Ruby is a little bossy and too mean to poor Max. Pretty good drawing for a 4 year old!

"I look like Nuna"

These are some cute pictures that I took of Abbie playing dress up. After she put on all of her accessories she said "I look like Nuna". (Nuna is my mom).

Memorial Day Fun in the Sun

On Memorial Day I had planned on getting some stuff done around the house and daycare was closed. My sister-in-law Leisa called to invite Abbie over to play with her cousins Taylor, Sophie and Cayden. Of course I said yes and within a couple of hours Abbie was having fun while I was at home doing my chores. I did make it over that afternoon in time to snap some really cute pictures and have a good supper of BBQ ribs. YUM!
Cousins-it's impossible to get them all looking
the same way and smiling

Smile Taylor!

Sophie loves the water and her car

Precious baby! She is always soooo happy :)

Dancing Queen

On Sunday May 25th Abbie had her dance recital at the Citizens Center in Lincolnton. It was so fun to see her all dressed up and to see what she's been learning over the year. She and her class ballet ed to "Dolls in the Toyshop" tapped to "Singing in the Rain" and jazzed to "Time to go to Town". It's been really nice to have a break of NO dance on Monday nights(Monday's are my least favorite day of the week) and to save $35.00 a month. She'll start her 3rd year of dance at the end of August /first of September.

Catching up over the past months!

Okay, I know its time to catch up with all of my posts! Not that I lead such an exciting life, but we've been pretty busy with starting to build our house and summer adventures that blogging has been neglected :(
